The Pilates method uses over 600 exercises that focus on the entire body. Pilates is designed to condition the entire body using positions and movements which will ultimately correct body alignment and balance. Pilates offers a holistic approach that combines body and mind. Awareness, breath, balance, concentration, control and precision are some of the principles that drive a pilates workout. Pilates is appropriate for both athletes and most levels of healthy adults.
