Stephanie earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Montana. After graduation she found Pilates working in a gym as a personal trainer and loved the way her body felt while taking Pilates. She then completed her Comprehnsive Peak Pilates Trainer Certification through Peak Bodies Pilates in Bozeman, MT. She has taught mat classes and private clients in Missoula since 2003. She has worked with clients of all ages and abilities and believes that Pilates is for everyone. Since teaching at PEAK, she has added CoreAlign Training and Booty Barre Certifications to her repertoire. Her hobbies include golf, squash, dance, reading and spending time with her family.
Kathy found her way to Pilates following a successful career as a college volleyball coach and athletic administrator. She completed her Pilates training and certification through the Northern California and Portland STOTT Centers and was among the first class of trainers and physical therapists to complete the CoreAlign certification through Balanced Body. When not teaching classes or working with clients, Kathy enjoys reading, hiking, rafting, snow shoeing and her two basenjis; Bode and Zeke. As a recent Montana immigrant, Kathy appreciates the beauty of her new home.
Kate's first experience with Pilates was during a dance class at the University of Montana, where she earned her Bachelors degree in Communication Studies. Pilates has become a significant piece to her overall approach to fitness. Her passion for Pilates lead her to become a STOTT certified Pilates instructor in 2007. She has enjoyed sharing the benefits of the method with clients of every age and ability ever since.
As a retired teacher, Dan decided to take his teaching skills into the world of Pilates. His Pilates journey began as he was undergoing physical therapy at Alpine Physical Therapy and used Pilates based movement to heal and rehabilitate. As an avid skier, golfer and cyclist he noticed how Pilates was making him more coordinated and better balanced in his activities. His dream has since evolved into helping others learn about and participate in their own Pilates journey. Dan is no stranger to the Peak! He’s been working at Peak since 2005 as a cycling instructor, group fit instructor, at the service desk and now is very enthusiastic about joining the mind and body trainers to teach Pilates and CoreAlign. His philosophy is to keep moving, eat healthy, forgive others and love life. Dan believes it is a gift to teach because you never know who the teacher is and who the student is. He loves skiing, golfing, reading, teaching at the Peak, Grizzly football, hiking and nights at home with his dazzling wife, Beth.
